Description
Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of mortality in the U.S. population. It is also a frequent cause of morbidity. Because of the complex nature of diagnosis and therapy for cardiovascular disorders, it remains a frequent reason for consultation. As such, an update of developing technologies and therapies for cardiovascular disorders responds to frequent questions from both primary care physicians and other cardiologists. It is a rapidly changing field. This CME activity will provide an update on new and developing concepts and technologies in cardiology. Topics have been selected to expand knowledge and to offer strategies to assist clinicians in the management of cardiovascular disease.
This activity is intended for cardiologists, primary care physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
