Description
6th edition of the international Airports 2010 Conference will be devoted to the problems of the development of Central and Eastern European airports and airlines in the post-crisis environment.
CEE traditional air carriers are confronted, on one hand, with strong and healthy position of airlines from the West, and on the other hand, with fast developing low cost operators. Capital airports in CEE are losing their standing mainly for the benefit of German hubs. On the other hand, new focus airports are established RIX being the best example.
EURO 2012 Football Championship in Poland and Ukraine constitutes a great opportunity for the development of airport infrastructure in both respected countries, which are being prepared for growing air traffic.
Ground handling market in CEE seems underdeveloped in comparison with the other parts of EU. However, the liberalization of the handling market is at the doorsteps of our airports.
October 5, 2010 will be held workshops on non-aviation revenue in the airports business.
Workshops will be moderated by PricewaterhouseCoopers`s consultants - Sebastian Go ciniarek, Bartosz Baca, and expert from the British consulting company specializing in the aviation sector, Richard Kaberry from York Aviation.
On October 6th 2010 in Warsaw, for the second time, there will be held Awionetka Gala, dedicated to the aviation market in Poland.
