The main purpose of our study was the selection of optimal treatment regimen of combined-ureamykoplamal, chlamydial and herpes infection and its complicated forms with the clinical and immunological and microbiological characteristics.
We observed 20 patients (10 women and 10 men) with a diagnosis of chronic complications of chlamydia, ureamykoplasmal, herpes virus infection, which occur gynaecological complications, prostatitis, reproductive disorders by type of termination of pregnancy, primary and secondary infertility, sperm pathology, extragenital localization of infection. Diagnosis and cure criteria established on the basis of clinical, bacteriological, PCR (polymerase chain reaction) methods.
With the same purpose identified on the background of herpesvirus infections associated with the definition of the threshold titer of specific IgM and IgG antibodies to HSV (herpes simplex virus) and CMV (cytomegalovirus), and the state of opposing cytokines TFN-a and IL-8 in serum by ELISA. Primary infertility was diagnosed in 9 (30%) patients, the secondary - in 13 (43.3%).
All patients showed evidence of chronic inflammatory lesions of the rising urogenital tract. Severity of inflammatory manifestations varied from scant to profuse discharge from the genital tract and pain. Since chronic endometritis was diagnosed in 7 women endocervicitis in 10, adnexitis - at 6, urethritis in men and 10 women, chronic prostatitis - in 9 men. Complained of a violation of potency 6 men. Sperm pathology installed in 8 men, including 2 patients with asthenozoospermia, oligospermia varying degrees in 3 patients, the remaining patients had isolated sperm disorders in the form of increased leukocytosis, reduced biochemical markers (fructose, citric acid, zinc) and viscosity. For patients, we used gazalidon, which is a herbal product, stimulates endogenous a - γ-interferon in the body, inhibits the growth of Chlamydia infection and is both anti-viral agent. We applied the scheme gazalidon 2 tablets 3 times a day for 3-5-day course with a 3-day intervals. As a result of microbial treatment to negative was observed in 28 (93.3%) patients. The gazalidon effectiveness was comparable to the antibiotic azitromycin.
