Description
AusNOG is a community of network operators who work in ISPs, Content Providers, or other areas of the On-Line Industry in Australia. In response to overwhelming demand, a number of volunteers decided to organise AusNOG Meetings, with the inaugural meeting being held in 2007. The meetings allow for the free exchange of ideas, experiences, and technical information as well as an opportunity to network with other members of the industry over a beer or three.
The Internet in Australia is evolving at a rapidly increasing rate. Recent
moves by organisations and governments in our back yard have presented the network operations community with a number of challenges. Some challenges are already here, others will come in time. This year AusNOG-04 2010 is adopting the theme of Improving the Internet in .AU .
