Our greatest highlight for 2009 was the involvement of the International Committee of the Red Cross and we are greatly privileged and proud for AUSTRAUMA 2010, to have lead surgeon, Dr Rowan Gillies, previous and longstanding President of Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders). He will be speaking of his extraordinary experiences and work as a frontline humanitarian and President of this Nobel Peace Prize winning aid organisation.
