Description
The ESA is aiming for an inexpensive CME meeting for a limited number of 600 participants. It will be a two-day programme with 36 presentations given by 18 speakers in two parallel sessions. The two learning track profiles are Practice and Foundations, and the 30 minute presentations will cover state-of-the-art topics of current interest.
Notably, among the speakers at the first of these events are the new ESA President, Professor Pelosi (Italy) and the Chairperson of the Scientific Programme Committee (SPC), Professor Pannen (Germany), as well as several chairs and members of the SPC subcommittees. The topics cover patient safety, aspects of perioperative monitoring, evidence-based practice guidelines, new techniques in analgesia, management of massive bleeding, news on pharmacokinetics, advances in intensive care and much more.
