Description
The 10th Annual Meeting of the International Society for Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery will be held in Paris, France, from June 16 to 19, 2010.
It is a great honor that CAOS-International has decided to have their 2010 Annual Meeting hosted in Paris, and it is a pleasure for me to invite you to attend this gathering of the world`s leading experts in the fields of navigation and robotics in orthopaedics and traumatology.
The CAOS 2010 meeting will take place in the Convention Center of the city of Versailles. Versailles is located at 20 minutes (by train) from the center of Paris. The very famous Castle of Versailles was the residence of Louis XIV, king of France in the 17th century. It will be very easy to visit this famous castle with its garden, because the location of the Convention Center in very close to the main entrance of Versailles Castle.
The importance of computer guidance in orthopaedics has grown enormously during the past years; the meetings of our society have established themselves as high-level scientific and social events bringing together clinicians, researchers, and students from all around the world. Our industrial partners are invited to present their products in the large exhibition area of the Versailles Convention Center and during the workshops. This will be an excellent opportunity for a creative dialogue with the participants.
The successful preceding meetings in Davos, Santa Fe, Marbella, Chicago, Helsinki, Heidelberg, Montr al, Hong Kong, and Boston have set a high standard of quality of the scientific sessions, educational and industrial workshops, live video surgeries, and industry exhibits. The recent meetings usually attracted well above 400 attendees and left the participants and accompanying persons with unforgettable impressions due to their special scientific, social, and cultural highlights. We are planning to continue this tradition trying to make the 2010 Annual Meeting once more the best one so far.
Welcome to Paris, the City of Lights with its well-known parks and gardens, and its famous museums, theaters, and cemeteries! Plus the modern and classical-music concert halls, opera houses, and attractions for kids.
I am looking forward to welcoming you all in Paris-Versailles!
