Our new two day launch event covering the mobile cloud brought together senior influencers working in content delivery, access, and storage across the mobile operator, device, content provider and developer sectors. Delegates questioned the assumption of a mobile cloud and whether predictions of mobile cloud usage is set to jump from 42.8 million consumers in 2008 to almost a billion by 2014, and from 1.1% to 19% of all mobile phone subscribers. Whether cloud as a practice has existed for years, the new age of cloud computing has massive ramifacations for players in the mobile device industry in 2011 we rename the event Cloud Connectivity and Device Content to properly address these major adaptations of content creation, distribution, and manipulation and how will this be negotiated, monetised and realised across multiple screens. In 2011 we also launch our free passes for enterprise end-users and independent software developers* to ensure you reach the newest customers and developers in this space.
