Decision Support System for Urban Planning based on GIS 2018 is a workshop dedicated to Geographic Information Systems as a powerful urban planning tool that provides functionality to store, capture, analyze, question, produce and display geographic information regarding the design, environmental aspects of development, transportation and more in the urban planning process.
This summer school endeavors to provide a balance between the "how-to" of using ArcGIS 10 and the "why" of GIS by explaining the roles GIS technology plays in analyzing different urban planning issues.
