Dubai comes alive with Design during Dubai Design Week, 24-29 October 2016: an annual six-day city-wide ‘celebration of design’ encompassing culture, education and entertainment and spanning multiple disciplines of design, from architecture, interior design, landscape and urban design, lighting and sound, product design, textile design, graphic design, food design and more.
Dubai Design Week acts as an umbrella organization to promote all design-dedicated activities taking place between 24 and 29 October 2016; from exhibitions, openings, new product and collection launches, installations, competitions, talks, film screenings and workshops. More than 100 events will take place all over the city, involving a large diverse cast: individual designers, studios, artists, architects, educational and cultural institutions, retail stores, iconic brands, trade professionals, authors, visionaries and more.
Dubai Design Week is held in partnership with Dubai Design District (d3), under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-Chairman of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, and supported by Dubai Design and Fashion Council (DDFC).
