This one-day course provides information and techniques for first line supervisors in handling areas involving human resource responsibilities with ease and confidence. It is also a good review for higher levels of management and for employees who aspire to being part of the management team.
Beginning with an overall review of areas of human resources for which supervisors are responsible, this webinar covers hiring, performance management, counseling, discipline, terminations, legal compliance under ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and other acts, preventing harassment and promoting teamwork as well as and promoting other fair employment practices.
Each section will give an overview of policy, applicable laws, proactive measures and best practices to assure the organization has equitable and effective human resource management.

Six (6) hours of instruction, one (1) hour lunch, 15 minute break.
