Description
Global Information Systems (IS) Processes (GISP) covers the interests of all TC8 Working Groups. Global IS Processes can be modelled (8.1) and they will help change organizations in becoming virtual and individualized (8.2). Changes in decision-making (8.3) and e-business systems (8.4) are some of the most prominent examples of global processes. Further, public (8.5) processes are becoming more global, and diffusion, adoption and implementation issues (8.6) are intensified by the globalization of processes. Smart Cards (8.8) are global as are Enterprise Information Systems (8.9). This conference is dedicated to the exploration and improved understanding of forms and impact of globalized IS processes. A one day Doctoral Consortium will precede this conference.
