The 5th biennial Innovative Foods Conference will address and discuss the opportunities for higher valued foods across the global supply chain.
CSIRO presents the Innovative Foods Conference in partnership with the Victorian Government and the University of Melbourne.
A specialised program will explore the emerging science and technologies underpinning innovative, higher valued agricultural products across the food supply chain.
The health, nutrition, safety, quality and functionality of foods will be featured as well as aspects of processing equipment, global market opportunities and associated commercialisation case studies.
This year`s Innovative Foods Conference will feature the latest international developments and applications in high value adding of products including:
- novel on-farm practises and produce
- novel and advanced processing technologies to provide convenience and new products
- impacts on nutrition, health and well being
