International Facility Management Association, India Chapter was formed in 1990 and represents IFMA Worldwide and its charter in India. The membership and following in India has grown to over 16000 facilities, property, engineering managers from corporations and service providers across the country. The charter of the association includes promoting excellence in the field of facility management, strengthening and advancing the knowledge and competencies of facility managers at par with global standards in FM and Education.
It was in order to address the need for a focused and devoted platform for knowledge sharing and networking in the Facility Management (FM) arena that IFMA India Chapter had organized conference and exhibition in India, India Workspace 2003, 2004 and 2006. These events were a resounding success with participation from delegates & exhibitors and speaker sessions.
The appetite for world class quality products and services in facility management in India has vastly increased in the last decade.
