Description
Information for GP-Led Commissioning 2010 is a new event replacing the successful annual Intelligent Information for World Class Commissioning. This conference aims to bring together those in informatics, commissioners and GPs in order to facilitate the information revolution and commissioning structure envisioned by the new government. As the NHS adapts to a new commissioning architecture, using information correctly and in innovative ways will be critical to ensuring the success of GP consortia and better quality patient care. However, this shift brings many challenges for both , current and future commissioners, to narrow the gap between the information needs of GPs and the available informatics solutions.
