The advances are taking place amid globalization under new modes of multi-agency and multi-national interaction, and experts must now venture across longstanding domain boundaries from operations to technology, policy, human factors, risk analysis, international law, economics, and more. The WSS 2010 conference seeks to foster cross-domain collaboration by bringing together industry, academia, and research institutions with common interests in the expanding field of waterside security.
