The Biochemical Society promotes the advancement of the molecular biosciences, representing the interests of all those working in the sector. The Biochemistry Society Irish Area Section (IAS) is a subsidiary of The Biochemical Society and operates under the same vision and guidelines.
Annual meetings of Irish Area Section of Biochemical Society aim to address important research topics of special interest for researchers. The meetings also seek to enhance interactions between Irish-based researchers and to encourage the involvement of young investigators (especially PhD students) in the dissemination and discussion of their findings.
