Jahrestagung der Deutschen Gesellschaft fur Biomaterialien (DGBM) is the Annual Meeting of the German Society for Biomaterials.
In 2019 it is being held together with the annual conference of the European Society for Biomaterials (ESB)
The event is dedicated to functionalized biomaterials for applications in medicine and dentistry with a focus on:
- Implants: Degradable polymers and metals
- Bone substitute materials
- Cell interaction (structure - biological function relationship)
- Interfaces (structuring, functionality, anti-bacterial properties, etc.)
- Tissue Engineering
