The National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners Training Course 2013 is organized by the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine together with the UMKC School of Nursing and OHS-COMPCARE and its purpose is to prepare medical examiners for a certification test in order to apply the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s physical qualification standards to their patients.
By May 21, 2014, all interstate CMV drivers will be required to undergo a physical examination performed by a certified medical examiner listed in the National Registry.
