The U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) is rapidly expanding its use of radio frequency identification to better manage its supply chain. A growing number of suppliers are being asked to tag goods before shipping them to the agency.
This event will focus on how the DOD employs RFID, how it benefits from using the technology and how suppliers are affected by having to tag their merchandise. The presenters will also explore the ways in which suppliers can benefit from utilizing RFID internally to lower costs, improve shipping accuracy and expedite payment from the military.
