Under the theme "Today Psychiatry - Psychiatry tomorrow" will be on the 4th SALUS-conference leading psychiatrist of the current state and perspectives of diagnosis and treatment of major psychiatric disorders (depression, schizophrenia, addiction, Alzheimer`s, etc.) will present.
The conference opened with a lecture by Prof. Dr. Eric Kandel, the first psychiatrist who was awarded the 1927 Nobel Prize for Medicine (2000).
Before the conference we have an exhibition on "Mentally ill - prepared as normal." Herbert Gr nemeyer, who joined us for many years in anti-stigma, will open this exhibition.
