SIMS is also pleased to announce that the 2011 Soccer Industry Medical Symposium will take place on Saturday, January 8, again on the beautiful beachfront of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
The SIMS Curriculum Committee is again engaged and motivated to create an agenda that addresses the most pressing and relevant matter facing elite level soccer athletes. said Dr. Riley Williams, team physician for the New York Red Bulls and SIMS curriculum committee chairman.
This event is designed to identify and address relevant medical issues targeting the soccer athlete. This event will encompass presentations on the latest technological advances and clinical management of sports related injuries. The event format will consist of lectures, case discussions, and debates. A distinguished faculty will present their experience, techniques and pearls of wisdom regarding current treatments and procedures available. Ample question and answer sessions will be provided.
