- Discuss current evidence-based methods in the management and treatment of sepsis;
- Explain evidence-based methods of managing pain and sleep deprivation;
- Describe and discuss neo-critical care issues, including ethical concerns and end-of-life care;
- Discuss how nutritional support optimizes patient outcomes in critical care;
- Explain the current rationale and approaches for optimal utilization of high frequency ventilation in both pediatric and adult population;
- Explain both the risks and benefits of invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation;
- Explain the various methods of obtaining hemodynamic readings, how to effectively interpret waveforms and the challenges associated with invasive monitoring;
