Despite many advances in the diagnosis and management of heart failure, this complex syndrome remains challenging. Prognostication of outcome in heart failure patients would represent a major breakthrough. A large number of candidate biomarkers can serve as an indicator of the severity, presence and possible therapeutic response of the heart failure syndrome.
Using Biomarkers to Predict Heart Failure and for Disease Management 2014 is a course dedicated to the research regarding the the use of biomarkers for detection and prognosis of heart failure.
