It is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the 11th World Congress of Pediatric Dermatology, which will take place in Bangkok, Thailand from 17-19 November, 2009.
This Congress is brought to you by the International Society of Pediatric Dermatology in conjunction with the Pediatric Society of Thailand.
The aim of the WCPD 2009 is to promote, develop and advance education, research and care of skin disease in all pediatric age groups and offer an exchange of information between physicians and health professionals in the field of pediatric dermatology. The Congress aims to educate physicians about advances in pediatric dermatology, supporting children with dermatological diseases and improving the care of children, by using multidisciplinary approaches.
The WCPD 2009 will address the need for new ideas and strategies in pediatric dermatology with a programme that covers the latest on topics such as hemangiomas, atopic dermatitis, rare and unusual presentations of childhood diseases, neonatal medicine, and therapeutic advances. The Congress venue is the Queen Sirikit Convention Centre, conveniently located in the heart of Bangkok.
In addition to a full scientific programme, the WCPD in Bangkok offers you the opportunity to visit truly breath-taking sights such as the Grand Palace Complex, which includes the temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Trimitr, the temple of the Golden Buddha, Wat Benchamabopit, the marble temple, a cruise along the Chao Phraya river, or the Rose Garden on the bank of the idyllic Tachin river. Bangkok is also a modern city with shopping as varied as traditional markets and sparkling new malls.
