Description
Following on from the Forum`s introductory Seminar on the Government`s White Paper Equity and excellence: Liberating the NHS, this timely seminar will explore in greater detail the Government`s commitment to creating a more responsive NHS, and the introduction of the patient champion HealthWatch.
Sessions will look at issues surrounding choice in healthcare; including how the commissioning reforms will operate to incorporate patient feedback and how these services will be held to account. Delegates will also discuss how fairness and optimum outcomes can continue to be upheld whilst pursuing greater user choice and participation. The seminar will also address service user rights and experience, with sessions focusing on the initiatives and resources available to inform users, deliver feedback to service providers, and further government commitments to privacy, dignity and respect for patients.
